These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Line Distribution website at https://linedistribution.app, its localized pages, and the Line Distribution iOS app (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Cloud projects and subscriptions
Basic editing tools are free and do not require registration. Pro costs USD 14.90 per month or USD 149 per year. The first subscription includes one 3-day trial shared across monthly and annual plans and requires a payment method. Unless canceled before the trial ends, it automatically renews at the selected price; subsequent renewals occur each month or year. Any applicable taxes and the final amount are shown at checkout. Payments are processed through Waffo; we store payment references, subscription status and billing dates, not full card details.
Refund policy
Pro is a digital subscription that provides access immediately; AI processing and service operation incur costs. Except for duplicate charges, service failures covered below, or refunds required by applicable law, subscription payments are non-refundable. We do not provide discretionary refunds or prorated refunds for unused time, a change of mind, or forgetting to cancel renewal. This applies to monthly and annual subscriptions, including renewals.
If you are charged twice for the same purchase, or a failure attributable to our Service prevents delivery of a paid feature, contact us. We will verify the payment and service records and provide an appropriate remedy, including a refund for a confirmed duplicate charge or an undelivered paid service. This policy does not exclude statutory withdrawal rights, remedies for defective digital services, or other mandatory consumer rights. Using the Service or starting a trial does not by itself waive those rights.
Cancel renewal in Plans & billing before the trial or current billing period ends to prevent the next charge. Canceling renewal does not automatically request or issue a refund; access continues until the current trial or paid period ends.
To request a refund or report a billing error, email support@linedistribution.app with your account email, order/reference number, payment date and a description of the issue. Do not send passwords or full card details. We review the request with our payment provider and communicate the outcome by email. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where supported; processing and bank posting times vary. Purchases through a third-party app store are also subject to that store’s refund process and applicable law.
The Service
Line Distribution helps you create and review line-distribution projects, time singing parts, view percentages and rankings, and export charts, images, or videos. The Website is browser-based and the App is designed for iPhone. The Service is provided for personal, educational, and fan-analysis use.
Unless we expressly say otherwise, Line Distribution is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any entertainment company, artist, label, or platform.
Eligibility
You must be old enough to use the Service under the laws of your jurisdiction. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
Your content and responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Audio, video, photos, lyrics, names, and other content you import or enter into the Website or App
- Ensuring you have the rights needed for your intended use, including copyright, publicity, privacy, and platform rights
- The accuracy and consistency of your timing and counting conventions
- How you save, share, publish, or otherwise use exported charts, images, videos, and text summaries
The Service processes imported media locally, but local processing does not grant you rights to use someone else’s material. Creating a private analysis and publishing a video that includes copyrighted music, imagery, or performer likenesses are different uses. Check applicable rights and platform policies before sharing publicly.
Optional third-party services
You may choose to use features that connect to third-party services. For example, a YouTube link can be played through an embedded web view, and sharing, email, App Store, and external help links may open system features or third-party services. Their terms, privacy policies, and content rules apply in addition to these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of third-party content and services is permitted.
Local processing and your data
Guest projects are stored in your browser. Signed-in projects, lyrics, timing and style settings are stored in Cloudflare D1; uploaded audio, background video and images are held in private Cloudflare R2 storage. Exported result videos from signed-in accounts are automatically uploaded to private R2 storage when saving succeeds, up to 1 GB per video. Result access expires after 7 days, and a scheduled task deletes expired files. Keep your own downloaded copy. The 7-day limit does not apply to project data or source media. Signing out or clearing browser storage does not delete cloud data. Deleting a cloud project removes its content and associated stored assets; a minimal project-ID tombstone prevents stale tabs from recreating it. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to infringe another person’s rights
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or overload the Service except as allowed by law
- Misrepresent Line Distribution results as official artist, label, company, or platform credits
- Use the Service to bypass copyright restrictions, platform controls, or access controls
- Abuse support or feedback channels with spam, harassment, or illegal content
- Circumvent security or access controls for the Website or App
No official results
Charts, rankings, fairness scores, and exports reflect your timing and rules. They are not official vocal-credit sheets and do not prove artistic intent, fairness in a moral sense, or a performer’s overall contribution.
Intellectual property
The Line Distribution name, website and App design, software, and original materials are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or commercially redistribute the Service itself without permission.
You retain rights you hold in your own inputs and in exports you create, subject to third-party rights in any media or content you include. Nothing in these Terms transfers rights in third-party music, video, imagery, names, marks, or likenesses to you.
Availability and changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that every feature, export format, or third-party integration will be available on every device, operating system, browser, or network.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY DEVICE, OPERATING SYSTEM, BROWSER, NETWORK, OR MEDIA FILE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ZERO (IF YOU PAID NOTHING) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those jurisdictions, the limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how the Website and iOS App handle local data, Website analytics, and optional third-party services. It forms part of how the Service operates alongside these Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or discontinue the Service, or block abusive use, at any time. Provisions that should survive termination, including intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, and liability limits, will survive.
